Classes are filling up fast for our summer camps. Students in grades 6-8, you don't want to miss out on all the fun of our feature film camp called The Darkest Matter and our musical production of Peter Pan. State Testing
After the Carnival has packed-up and hit the road, it will be time for our annual STAR Testing. The tests will be administered between Tuesday, April 27th and Friday, May 7th. Attending school during the testing period is extremely important, and students being well rested and nourished help with test performance. We have also modified our schedule on testing days to support the students’ efforts.

Change in Future School Calendar
The Board of Trustees of the Santa Clara Unified School District has voted to change the school calendar to end the first semester (second quarter) prior to the winter break next year and in years to come. This change has caused the school year to begin a week earlier than usual. The first day of instruction for the 2010 – 2011 school year will be on August 16th. Please adjust your summer plans to accommodate this early start next school year.
