My fourteen years at Cabrillo Middle School (CMS) have been the happiest and most rewarding time of my professional life. My first three years were spent teaching eighth grade English /Social Studies core. The following eight years I served as CMS's vice principal before becoming Principal four years ago. I feel great pride in being a member of CMS's talented and supportive staff, who are dedicted to providing an excellent education to all CMS students.
On a personal note, I was born in Encino, California in 1959 and grew up in nearby Anaheim. I worked briefly at Disneyland as a Captain on the Jungle Cruise! I taught elementary and middle school for a total of fifteen years before becoming an administrator. My wife Sue and I have been married for eighteen years and have three sons.
